www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: Project Low-Buy 2018 (January Mini-Haul)

I went a little crazy with make up shopping last year and ended up with a lot of slightly-used make up products. I'm trying to keep my stash to a minimum as much as I can that's why I started a Project Pan and did a self-imposed Low-Buy for the rest of they year.

Let's be honest, I think going No-Buy for an entire year is impossible so I settled for a Low-Buy instead. My goal is to buy a maximum of 4 products per month (which includes skincare and make up products). If I didn't meet the 4 products criteria then the extra product/s can be carried over to the next month and so on.

For this post, I will be sharing the 4 make up products that I purchased for the month of January.

1. INGLOT COSMETICS AMC Eyeliner Gel in 90https://buff.ly/2EAB4rP
I have been loving my INGLOT concealer since I got it and wanted to try more products from this brand. Their gel pot concealers are very popular so I decided to purchase one. It's very affordable and the pot will last me for years! Everything they said about this gel liner is true. It's very opaque, it's waterproof, budge-proof, and sweat-proof. I only needed a tiny amount each time since it's very opaque. I decided to keep the foil cover since people say it dries up quickly. But it's nothing that a small amount of Duraline can't fix.

2. SUGARPILL COSMETICS Pressed Eyeshadow in Poison Plumhttps://buff.ly/2ob5z1H
Since the color of the year is ultraviolet, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try some violet hued make up. I read that violet or purple hues are good for brown-eyed gals like mah-self so I decided to purchase this shadow. To be honest, I haven't tried it out yet but I heard a lot of good reviews regarding Sugarpill's eyeshadows. I think it would complement the Plum shadow in my LORAC PRO 2 Palette which is in my current Project Pan. Let me know if you're interested in looks that I come up with using this shadow.

3. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Lilac Geodehttps://buff.ly/2obotFz
I am a sucker for limited editions that's why I had to have this gorgeous highlighter from BECCA. Was honestly disappointed when they decided to add this as part of their permanent collection because the reason I bought it was because it's a limited edition.

But still, it's so unique and beautiful! A little amount is all I need for everyday looks with this highlighter. I had to remind myself that I am currently panning a much, much older highlighter in my collection so I'm trying to use that one up quickly so I can continue loving this gorgeous beast.

4. TARTE TARTELETTE in BLOOM Palette https://buff.ly/2GrOxD3
It's a little hard to buy Tarte products (and most brands) here in Australia. Sephora.au sells limited products from the brand and they sold out fast. I don't own any palette from Tarte, not even the infamous Shape Tape (I'm probably the only one in the planet), so I wanted to start with their cult-fave palette.

A lot of people say, it's a boring palette because it's another neutral palette but I beg to differ. I think it's a perfect everyday palette which would get more used than most Urban Decay palettes. It's definitely a bang for your buck since every shade in this palette is very usable. Plus, it doesn't have your typical matte black shade, which I find is a waste of space for most palettes.

So that's it for this post. I hope you stay tuned next month for my Low-Buy post this month.

Also, my second update for my Project Pan Series will be posted next week.

Have a wonderful day!
