PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 2
2:41:00 PM
Another month, another update!
About a year ago, I'd be anxious once I see pans in my products or once I reach the halfway mark in a bottle. I'd probably stop using it and reach for something else in order to keep my beloved babies longer. But now, I'm a changed woman. The previous pans have expanded, I've hit more pans in my palette, reached halfway marks on some products and I'm actually very excited about it.
I have learned a lot of things since I started this project. I might make a future post about it after I hit the halfway month for this year. But for now, I would like to share some YT channels that I binge-watched recently. I shared 4 channels previously in my Intro, but these two channels are the ones I'm currently addicted to. If you enjoy the channel, Beauty News, you might find them familiar. So a big shout out for these two amazing women!

BTW, I'm only showing the items that I've actually used so don't be surprised if there aren't 17 products (finished 1 last month) for this update. So enough with the intro, and let's proceed with my progress.
I wasn't satisfied with my progress in the previous update so I'm quite happy that I finished up more for this update. Since Summer has officially ended here down under, I will be using up more of this with the changing season. My goal for the next update is to finish up at least 3/4 of the tube.
I would definitely repurchase this once I finish it. It's quite an affordable moisturising primer and I enjoyed using it during the hotter seasons of the year. I can see dry skin gals will love this and if you have oily-combo skin, use this sparingly. It can move your make up around because it's quite an emollient product.
2. Naturactor Make Up Base
I started to enjoy this product for the past month! I love how it leaves a nice sheen on my skin that's quite trendy nowadays. If you want a "glass-skin" look, I highly recommend this product! But since this particular one has been with me for years, I want to finish this up as soon as I can. My goal by my next update is to finish this up.
I haven't been wearing a lot of make up recently because of the extreme Summer heat. That's why I stopped using my BB cream as well since it's just too heavy on my face and just melts right off anyway. I have used up this powder more but since it was practically new when I started this project, sadly, there's no visible progress yet on this one. On my next update, my goal is to hit a considerable dent. Keeping my fingers crossed.
5.Bobbi Brown Corrector
I am so excited to share my progress with this one. As you can see I have expanded the pan significantly! I decided to use this on my no make up make up days and that's how I hit major progress.
6. Inglot Freedom System Concealer
7. MAC Prolongwear Paintpot in Soft Ochre
There's no major difference on this one because I started to focus on the sides of the paint pot rather than on the middle dent. I wanted to somehow even out the product before I start making progress on the dent again. Probably on my next update, you'll see a deeper dent on this.
8. Paul & Joe Face Color
9. MAC Lip Pencil
10. MAKE UP FOREVER Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick
This lipstick is never-ending! I have honestly used this almost everyday of my life for the past month. I thought I made a significant progress with it but when I saw the before and after photos I was honestly disappointed.
11. LORAC PRO 2 Palette
On my previous update, I made a teeny pan on MOCHA. For this update, I am so stoked to hit pan on 3 other shadows (Lt. BROWN, BEIGE AND ROSÉ). I was also able to expand the pan on MOCHA. Honestly, I am surprised that I haven't hit pan on NECTAR and BUFF since those 2 are the most abused shades in my palette. I did notice though that those 2 shades are more hard-pressed than Lt. Brown so I guess that's why I hit pan on Lt. BROWN first.
I would have made more progress if I'd worn make up more frequently. Hopefully now that Summer has officially ended (and it's getting slightly colder), I would be making more progress with this palette on my next update.
12. Bobbi Brown Ink Liner
I finished another product for this update. Yay! I didn't include this on my previous update since I had no way of telling where I was with this product. But as you can see in the photo, it's finished.
For this update, I think I did pretty well. Although I only finished one product, I had more progress with my remaining items than I had previously.
Finished products:
1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer (Medium) - AU$18.95 https://buff.ly/2CnYq6S
2. Bobbi Brown Ink Liner (Blackest Black) - AU$42 https://buff.ly/2otPDaN
Total: AU$60.95
So that's it for this post. If you have any tips and advice when it comes to panning please let me know on the comments section below. If you're also a panner please leave your links as well as I would love to connect with fellow panners.
Stay tuned next month for my next update.
Have a wonderful day!
