www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: Project Low-Buy 2018 (February)
I'm back with my Project Low-Buy items for the month of February! It's just the second month of the year and I have already broken the rules of this project. For this month, I have exceeded my max of 4 items / month. I bought 2 extra items which means that in one of the succeeding months, I should purchase less than 4 items.

So without further ado, here are the 5 items (skincare + make up) that I purchased for the month of February:

1. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewaterhttps://buff.ly/2D4gmPv
My skin has been getting extra dry lately because of Retinol so I wanted to try these facial mists from Mario Badescu. I try to mist my face throughout the day and it does help ease the tight feeling of my dry skin. I don't really use it as a setting spray since I currently have another one in my Project Pan so I can't really say it's an effective setting spray. I do like it as a hydrating spray and I love the smell of it too.

2. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea - https://buff.ly/2FWmAnO
I bought this right after I bought the Rosewater one just to try if it's any different. This particular one is not marketed as a setting spray but as a cooling spray. Since it's pretty hot here down under, I thought it's the best time to try it out while it's Summer.

Honestly, I don't feel any cooling effects of this spray, but I thought it's pretty hydrating as well. This one has a milder cucumber-ish scent compared to the floral scent of the Rosewater one. Overall, I think both are really good, affordable, hydrating sprays.

3. NARS Audacious Lipsticks in Silvia (https://buff.ly/2FpF2Yd) and Anna (https://buff.ly/2HavMEx)
Ever since I got my hands on some limited edition Nars Audacious Lipsticks last year, I started to slowly collect them. I have been eyeing these 2 shades for quite a while now but since these lippies are expensive AF, I just couldn't bring myself to buying them. Finally, I saw them on sale online that's why I was able to purchase them. These two shades are just perfect since they both match the current color of the year. I currently have 6 of these and when I get more, I might make a swatchfest post of my mini-collection.

4. Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Brow Pencil in Ash Blonde - https://buff.ly/2FYNfk3
This one is a spur of the moment purchase since I needed another product to get the free shipping for my order. I haven't tried anything from this brand since it is hard to get them here. I think it's only available in MECCA and nowhere else. I was surprised to find out that it was only a few dollars more expensive than the Brow Wiz. I haven't tried it out yet cause I'm still using up my ABH Brow Wiz but I'll update you once I have.

5. BECCA Après Ski Glow Face Palette - https://buff.ly/2Gs3GFz
This is another impulse-buy. It was on sale and I couldn't help myself from purchasing it. I was impressed when the ads showed women of all colors using this face palette so I thought why not? Since I got this, I have been using OPAL and Bronzed Bondi non-stop. I realised that I'm too tan right now for Bronzed Bondi so I might go and try the BECCA + Chrissy Teigan collab palette

I know it's only the start of the year, but I am really struggling with this current project. However, I am dedicated into sticking to it for the rest of the year. I started to make a monthly plan for future purchases just to make sure I won't exceed again for the coming months. Wish me luck!
