PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 6

Hello interweb friends!

www.poshmakeupnstuff.blogspot.com: PROJECT PAN: Pan 18 in 2018 UPDATE # 6

Another month, another update. I felt like November went on longer than the previous months. As you will see in this update, I made a significant progress with several of the items. This is also the month when I finally accepted that I won't be able to finish up most of the products included in my project pan.

I am definitely gonna continue panning next year. Even though I have to admit, there were times when I just wanted to quit, the feeling of satisfaction in finishing a product completely is totally worth it. I feel like I have learned a lot from my first year of panning that I am optimistic that I will do better next year.

Anyway, enough intro and let's jump right into the updates:

Now that it's Summer here (I live down under), I have been able to use this as my everyday go-to base/sunscreen. 1 pump of this is enough for me since it has an ashy-grey tone to it. I used to like this for its coverage and sun protection but I discovered other BB creams that I like better than this.

I think I have finally made some visible improvement on this. If you look closely, you will see that the pan rings are now slightly visible. Yay! I have dry to normal skin so I am very careful with powder. I really like this powder, it's so finely milled and it does a good job in setting my liquid base. I am really looking forward on how it will look like at the end of the year.

I am quite pleased with my progress on this one. I like this setting spray. I think it really does help keep my make up on longer however, I don't find this hydrating enough for my dry skin. For Fall and Winter, I prefer my Mario Badescu sprays than this one. But now that it's boiling hot outside, I'm able to use this more than before. I like to spray my brush or my cushion puff with this before blending my base and then I go over my entire face with a couple more spritz after I finish all my powder products. I also use this to wet my eye shadow brushes and it helps the shadow stand out more and stay on longer.

Since my previous update, I only sharpened this once so I don't have much progress with this one. It's a good lip pencil, I really like it. It lasts longs and helps my lipstick stay on longer. Since it is a pencil, it is more hygienic compared to twist up lip pencils. For the price you pay, it lasts a long time so you definitely get your money's worth.

In my previous update, you can see that I have completely flattened out the bullet. I thought about considering it done but then a big part of me wanted to know how much product is left inside. So I scooped out the remaining product and placed it in a plastic tub. I find it wasteful to throw out the remaining product so I decided to continue with it. I think by next update, I will finish it up.

I have never completely finished an entire pan of eyeshadow in my entire existence. This year alone I already finished up 3 pans in my palette. I know, I know, I have an existential dilemma if this is my biggest achievement in life but it does make me feel good. My goal next month is to completely use up Nectar and Rose and possibly hit pan again on Mocha (I repressed it).

Another product I am happy to cross out in my list is this concealer. I would have finished this sooner however, it was too dark for me during the cold months. It was a good product especially in spot treating pimples. I have been breaking out lately so this has been very helpful in covering my break outs. It is very creamy and easy to blend, its longevity is pretty decent also. I highly suggest you to try it for covering your blemishes. I don't recommend it for the under eyes since I find it too thick and creamy for it.
