Hello friends! I'm back for my 4th update on my Project Pan. I honestly can't believe that it's just my 4th update. It kinda feels like I've been doing this forever.
For this update, I don't really have a lot of progress to show. I kinda fell in a slump the previous month and I just took a mini-break from using most of my panning items. Hopefully, I would snap out of it soon and be able to show more progress by the next update.
So in the mean time, here's my not so stellar progress:
1. Naturactor Make Up Base
This one is a fail. I was supposed to finish this one up by this update but sadly I failed. I tend to forget to use this every time I do my make up that's why I didn't get much progress it. I will try my best to finish this one for my next update.
If you have this foundation, you know that you don't need a lot for every use. This is my summer shade so I have been mixing this with my double wear concealer to somehow lighten it up. However, it also means that I won't be able to use much every make up application.
I previously mentioned that I won't be supporting Estee Lauder products anymore since I don't agree with what the company stands for. Because of that even though this is my HG foundation, I decided not to repurchase it once I ran out. The bad news is that means I am currently on the hunt for a good dupe for this one.
Since this is a pretty thick and creamy concealer, I tend to use this only to cover blemishes. Good news is my skin has been behaving lately so the bad news is I didn't need this concealer as much as before. Also, since I was using my double wear foundation, I didn't really need another layer of coverage that this one provides.
I am planning on switching back to my BB cream soon so hopefully I would get more use with this and show more progress next time. My goal is to enlarge the pan I already have by my next update.
I'm not sure if my progress is visible in this before and after photo. IRL though I can see that I have reached a deeper dent on my paint pot. I am trying to hit pan before I start working on the sides of this pot.
With the amount of product this pot has, I really believe this is a good bang for your bucks. However, I do recommend that you put on an eye cream first if you have dry lids since it tends to emphasise the dry patches I never thought I had on my lids.
IRL I am starting to notice the rings of the pans showing however, I don't think this photo is able to capture that. I really do like this powder and I don't really want to waste it just to finish it up. So I am taking my time with this one and am just using the right amount for my face. I tend to use less this time around since it is Autumn here so hopefully once it's Spring again I get to use this more.
I guess it is bound to happen soon...I started to get bored with this palette. I started reaching out for my other palettes recently which is why I don't have new pans to show for this month. I still try to reach out for this one just to use some shades (BUFF and LT BROWN). But for the most part, I have started to neglect this palette.
For my next update, I will try to further enlarge my existing pans and to create deeper dents on the shades PLUM and CHROME.
Another product that I don't have significant progress. I don't think I even sharpened it for this update.
I was honestly quite surprised when I checked my before and after photos of this lipstick. IRL I feel like I am not making any progress at all. I really want to finish this one up as soon as I can because just dying to move on to my other lipsticks.
My goal was to finish this up by this next update and I'm happy that I was able to achieve that. Honestly, it wasn't hard to finish this up. I could have finished this earlier but I was trying to keep it longer because I just find that it works really well as a moisturising primer especially during these cool months. I am sad to let this one go but I am also happy to give some love to my other moisturising primer in my collection.
